Hi! My name is Kendall Lewis. I love software development and teaching CS. I've taught with Girls Who Code for three years! Through the program I've met some of the most amazing women and young ladies. I'm continuously impressed with their work and look forward to seeing how they'll change this world. I strongly believe in gender equality and encouraging girls to consider STEM from a younger age - particularly since CS isn't something I discovered for myself until after I'd already started college. I'm a current member of Women Who Code Reno/Tahoe - a group of even more women who are interesting, inspiring, and share my passion for tech!

I'm currently looking for work in the Reno, NV area. I'm interested in both web and software development. I have experience as a full-stack developer. During my time with Capstak, I worked collaboratively within a development team, but also as the sole back-end developer, so I have experience and am comfortable both working in teams and doing self-directed work. I take pleasure in learning new languages and technologies, and in writing good, reliable code. To that end, I'm open to many different development opportunities, be it web development or otherwise. My interests are varied and I'm always looking for something new to learn and work on.
